STEAM BUBBLE EXPERIMENT

Steam bubble collapse occurs in many industrial applications. Using flow measurement techniques the velocity of the collapsing surface, the shape of the collapsing bubble, and the velocity of the surrounding fluid can be measured.

Double exposure and single exposure image

With fluorescent particles, a filtered and unfiltered image
Can be used to find the bubble shape
